The ICOR Practice Overlap Guidance is provided as an informational resource and does not establish, modify, expand, or restrict the scope of practice of landscape architecture in North Carolina.
The lawful scope of landscape architectural practice in North Carolina is governed by G.S. Chapter 89A and the Board's administrative rules. The omission of a particular activity from an ICOR comparison or description should not be interpreted to mean that a North Carolina landscape architect is prohibited from performing that activity when it is otherwise within the scope of practice authorized by North Carolina law.
